Meets flame resistance acceptance Designation "U.S. MSHA 2G." Designed for hydraulic application with excellent resistance to impulse pressures. Tube construction is made of synthetic rubber (neoprene ). Reinforcement is four layers of steel wires, high tensile strength. Cover is also made of black, oil resistant, sythetic rubber (neoprene). Temperature range: -40°F to +250°F. Couplings/fittings: permanent crimped on fittings.

SAE 100R16GATES M2T MEGAFLEX® 2 WIRE BRAID HOSE—SAE 100R16
Designed for high pressure hydraulic oil lines. Meets SAE 100R16 hose requirements. The Gates M2T has smaller wall size, tighter bend radius, but performs equally well to the older, but still popular SAE 100R2 AT specs. Tube is made of a black, oil resistant synthetic rubber (Nitrile, Type C). Reinforcement: two braids of high strength steel wires. Cover: black, oil, abrasion, weather resistant, sythetic rubber—nitrile. Available with a thicker cover called, MEGATUFF®. This hose is for sale in fifty (50) foot lengths only. Temperature range: -40° F to +212° F (-40° C to +100° C).

SAE 100R17GATES M3K MEGA3000® BRAID HOSE—SAE 100R17
Made for high pressure hydraulic oil lines. Equal to SAE 100R17 specifications. The M3K hose has smaller dimentions and will bend at a much tighter radius compared to SAE 100R1 and SAE 100R2 hose series. Tube is made of black, oil resistant, synthetic rubber; sizes -4 to -16 are Nitrile. Cover is black, oil, abrasion and weather resistant, sythetic rubber; size -4 to -16 is a modified Nitrile construction. Temperature range: -40°F to +212°F.

SAE 100R7 CONDUCTIVE
SAE 100R7GATES C7S—SAE 100R7
Designed for hydraulic, pneumatic, & water base fluids ("water glycol" & "water/oil emulsions"). Gates suggested use: cherry picker equipments for telephone pole maintenance crews, lube lines, "blowout preventer control lines," lifts, and farm machineries. Tube construction: Nylon. Reinforcement: One polyester braid. Cover: Black color, perforated cover, urethane construction. Tolerance: -65 °F to +200 °F non-stop service for hydraulic oils; however, the maximum for water glycol fluids is +158 °F.

SAE 100R7 NON-CONDUCTIVE
SAE 100R7GATES C7SNC—SAE 100R7NC
This hose is equal in performance to the C7S series (SAE 100R7 Conductive), except it has an orange color cover and non-perforated. Designed for non-conductive applications. According to Gates Catalog 2002: "Maximum leakage shall not exceed 50 microamperes when subjected to 75 kV/Ft. for five minutes." May be used for shop cranes with/close to electrical motors.

Made for low pressure, suction lines using petroleum products and water based hydraulic fluids. Tube is made of black, synthetic nitrile, type C. Reinforced with double spiral textile, then an addition of helical spiral wire to prevent collapsing. Cover is made is made of neoprene construction, which is oil and abrasion resistant. Temperature range: -40° F to +275° F @ constant flow, or +300° F intermittent flow. All sizes are rated at 25 inch per mercury (inch/Hg). Sold only in 25 or 100 foot lengths. See Bulletin 43.

Marine diesel fuel and gasoline applications, including hot oil lines of up to +212° F. Complies with SAE J1527 Type A Class I and SAE J1942 requirements. Core is Nitrile, type C. One wire braid reinforcement with blue color cover. Sold in 50 foot lengths, except for size (-5), which is sold at 385 lengths only.

Type-A nonconductive is white, smooth bore PTFE; type-B conductive is black & white smooth bore PTFE. Conductive type is designated with "C14CT" nomenclature. This hose is excellent for most air compressor discharge, oil, fluids different variety, or anything with hot and greasy applications. Furthermore, this hose is excellent for both impulse and non-impulse designs. Temperature range: -65° F to +400° F @ dynamic. -65° F to +450° F @ static.
